I like to switch things up every few years, but sometimes it can get costly. I have so many deocrations and some the colors and theme are not what I want anymore. Do you feel the same?
I came across some great ideas on Pintrest and I am posting links direct to the blogs here.
I love the idea of using Spray paint, easy, inexpensive and so many colors and finishes to choose from.
Do you get multiple holiday tins or cookie tins each year and toss them? Check out the link below to spray paint them and use them again for any occassion. Check out digiscrap*tology for this tip.
Old ornaments? prefer a new color? Spray paint them… I am getting excited!!! 🙂 See how this is done on Live Love DIY
How about those dollar store candles and clear vases? They are so boring and really aren't festive. Usine the link below and see how a bit of spray paint and painters tape can make them look fun. Plus, my own tip, get a stencil tape to the glass candle or vase and use the spray paint. Popsugar shows how to do this candle spray painting technique
Enjoy freshening up your holiday items!!
I have often wondered why pictures in magazines of windows look so good, but in everyday homes I see I think hmmm seems like something is off. This could be a major reason I didn't hang many curtains. LOVE this article by stylist Emily Henderson and hope you will too.
