This last week I mentioned I would post about Easter egg decorating. There are so many ideas from simple to complicated, some for children and some for adults. I picked just a few ideas and sites to share with you that are fairly simple and pretty.
I also saw a few posts regarding dye mixing recipes, and I love to have vibrant brights, rich deep hues, or if so inclined pale or even neon shades. Unfortunatey, the pages are not showing on the McCormick webpage. So I thought it would be helpful to share the images that give the dye recipes.
Marbled eggs with Nail Polish- love this idea, you can expand on this by using multiple colors.
The directions and supplies list are on the blog Alice and Lois
Fun with Watercolors instead of food dye. You can use kids crayola watercolors or any type of watercolors you may have or purchase in the art section at a grocery or craft store. The blog Oh my! Creative shows exactly how to do this technique.
Beautiful Speckled eggs: Tea dye or food dye and paint. The Southern Living website shows how to create these pretty eggs.
Glitter Eggs. This can be done on real hard boiled eggs or plastic, foam or wooden eggs. Confessions of a Plate Addict shares how to do this on plastic eggs.
